A Sweet twist on a breakfast classic with Arla Cheese

February 9th is #NationalBagelDay and who doesn’t love the classic cream cheese on a bagel

Who doesn’t love this classic for breakfast, lunch…. or lets be honest it makes a great quick dinner too!

What better way to celebrate this day than with our self serve “bagel bar!”

The kids love being able to make their own breakfast and choose their own toppings. I love that they can do it themselves … for the most part at least!

Also, let’s keep it real, whenever I can actually eat my own breakfast while it’s still warm, it’s definitely a momwin!

While we always make sure to have the traditional smoked salmon with all the trimmings… the kids usually aren’t the biggest fans!

One thing they can never resist is my cinnamon – honey crunch cream cheese! It tastes like a dessert but is perfectly acceptable for breakfast! I like to use Arla Lactose Free Cream Cheese.

This cream cheese is so smooth and creamy! It makes it easy and spreadable for even the littlest hands!

I also love that it’s only made with 5 ingredients that are 100% all natural! Even though it’s Lactose free, you still get all the nutritional benefits without the lactose!

Growing up with family members that are lactose intolerant, we always struggled to find quality and delicious foods that everyone could enjoy without sacrificing taste.

With this, there’s no sacrifice and all delicious rich flavour!

Celebrate this delicious month with this yummy recipe! I guarantee it will turn into a breakfast favourite!

Cinnamon- Honey Crunch cream cheese

  • 2 (200 g) containers of Arla Lactose Free Cream Cheese
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp crushed walnuts
  1. In a medium bowl mix all your ingredients together, until well blended.
  2. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 45 minutes to firm up.

Serve immediately on your favourite flavour of bagels… or just eat it right out of the container, like I may or may not have…
