Classic Sugar Cookies

classic sugar cookies

I’m definitely feeling the Christmas spirit these days!

Any excuse to bake and make delicious treats, you know I’ll find it!

I usually try to start my baking about a month before, starting with these super simple sugar cookies. These classic are a family favorite. You can do so much with them. Roll them out and use cookie cutters, mix in some sprinkles for more festive cookies. Or even dip them in chocolate! the only limit is your imagination!

They’re perfect for baking a freezing a head of time. When you need them you just defrost and serve!

I would however, recommend that you freeze them before decorating. When you defrost them, you can add your icing and sprinkles just as though they were freshly baked!
